I think I started a new photography phase. I now get this urge to go get a prop for a photo I have in mind. That never happened before, I just looked around the house and took pictures with what I had, not so much preparation. It’s the perfect excuse to buy that little cute thing that doesn’t match with anything that I own and that I don’t need at all BUT it will be needed it in the future I’m sure.
I’m so excited with this! When you have a passion for something, that passion keeps feeding, I don’t think it will just stop, it will continue to improve and get better and better as long as you let it.
Remember when I told you I went out the other day and I didn’t find the bowls I was looking for? But what I did find were some more plates and some glasses that will get used soon, I’m sure.
My mind is already putting together these photo-shoots, I’m getting scared of how my mind is going at 1000 per hour but I can only make it happen so fast. It doesn’t matter because at the end all this process is inspiring me back and forth. It is going without stopping!
The pictures here are some of the props I got, not so fancy but they will be very useful, you’ll see them here again in some of my pictures in the future. And meanwhile I will keep looking for the bowls I didn’t find!

Creo que empezé una nueva etapa en la fotografía. Ahora me provoca ir a comprar cositas lindas para usarlas como props en alguna foto que tengo en mente. No me pasaba lo mismo antes, antes simplemente buscaba lo que tenía en la casa y con eso me arreglaba las fotos, pero esta es la perfecta excusa para comprar esa cosita que no pega con nada de lo que tengo y que ni siquiera la necesito pero que si será usada en un futuro en una de mis fotos.
Estoy tan emocionada con esto. Creo que cuando se tiene una gran pasión por algo, esa pasión se sigue alimentando, no creo que llegue un momento en el que termine, continuará mejorando y cambiando con tal de que la aprovechemos y la alimentemos.
Se acuerdan que les conté que fuí a la tienda de cosas usadas y no encontré el platico qeu estaba buscando? Pero si encontré otros platicos y vasitos que me gustaron para otras fotos que seguro tomaré en el futuro.
Mi mente ya está pensando a mil por hora en todos estos photo-shoots que quiero hacer y me asusta que mi mente va mucho más rápido de lo que de verdad puedo hacer, pero no importa, igual le sigo porque este proceso me está inspirando sin parar!
Las fotos del post son de algunos de los props que compré, no son muy fancy pero me van a ser útlles, seguro los verán por aquí en otra fotos en un futuro cercano. Y mientras tanto seguiré buscando esos platicos que no encontré!

It's fun but be careful—it's a slippery slope and before you know it, your husband is going to ask why you have ten mismatched cups in the cabinets! 😉 Lately my weakness has been with different textured fabric napkins; anything from cotton, to linen and really textured placemats.

tambien las tiendas de un dolar canadienses (bellas), los mercados de las pulgas y los bazares de cosas usadas.
y ni hablar de etsy…

Thank goodness hubby doesn't realize about that stuff, but yes, I have to be careful cause I don't even have much space now that we moved to an apartment. I do feel better because when we moved I got rid of a lot of stuff so now I feel I have a license yo buy more, hahaha!

Si, fíjate que a donde voy es a thrift stores de aquí y ahora que me mudé también estoy descubriendo cuáles son mejores. Las tiendas 99cts también voy pero ultimamente no tienen nada bonito. No importa, la búsqueda es cheverísima también, jeje!
