I decided to create a new section in the blog. An EVENTS section. There is usually a lot happening around the city and we go to several events and I then come back and tell you about it here with pictures and so on. But I recently got an invite to an event were they suggested me to share it before I go so my readers could also attend.
I thought… Hmmm, I don’t usually inform readers about events here in my blog but since I do love to share, I do want to let you know about some of the events I’ll be attending, or events I really like so if you are around LA you have the chance to go as well.
Ok, long story just for telling you know about this new section so here below are the 2 events I want to tell you that are happening right now and next week!
When more events come up that I like I’ll definitely let you know again! Oh, and if you go share share share!!
I went on the premier night at Long Beach. It was my first time going to a Cirque du Soleil show and it was AMAZING! I really recommend it plus it’s very affordable. Quidam had its world premier in Montreal in 1996! And since then the show has toured on 5 continents and more than 10 million people have seen it. It’s breath taking really.
The best part that had forgotten is that it is a Circus and at the Circus there are clowns, and they make you laugh! They were hilarious and they balance all the show so you are not on the edge of your seat all the time watching the artists do all those risky things which are amazing as well!
The show will be in Long Beach until April 24th and then they will go to Ontario from April 27 until May 1. There is still chance, go for it!
For more info, here is their website.
Oh I’m so excited about this one! It’s the first book fair for books in Spanish here in LA and it’s backed up by University of Guadalajara in Los Angeles and by the Guadalajara International Book Fair.
They will have events for little ones and for adults, concerts and lots of book authors will be there. I can’t wait! Here is the schedule: April 29, 30 and May 1 at Concourse Hall, Los Angeles Convention Center. Admission FREE.
Go to their beautiful website more info!
Disclosure: This is not a paid post. I was given Media tickets for Quidam and I will participate in a contest by sharing LeaLA info here. All thoughts are 100% my own.
Esta si que me emociona! Es la primera Feria del Libro en Español en Los Angeles! Y está siendo organizada por la Universidad de Guadalajara sede de Los Angeles y la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara.
