One of my family traditions while growing up during the Holidays involved brand new clothes, not only for Christmas but for December 24th, for New Year’s Eve, and for the first of January, oh! and let’s not forget the new pajamas to receive baby Jesus!!

I like to follow that tradition as much as possible now; I do get them new clothes but not for all those days because we don’t really celebrate all of them. However, they always have something new for Christmas and the New Year’s.

I love that OshKosh B’gosh has nice stylish clothes for both of them (they go up to size 14), the clothes are appropriate for the children (they don’t need to dress as adults!!) and it’s easy to make many combinations that will look so pretty.

We always have many activities and events during December, so when I buy them holiday clothes, I want them to be useful for all of them.

SHOPPING TIPS FOR STYLISH KIDS HOLIDAY OUTFITS

1. Visit the website first, take a look and take note of what you like the most
2. Do not go with them to the store! You know how it goes… Mami, Mami, get this and this and this! And nothing matches LOL! It’s easier to take your time and concentrate when they are not with you.
3. When possible, get everything that matches with one another. This is so helpful when mixing and matching!
4. Buy a size a little loose but not so big. We want them to wear it for this year’s holidays, not for the next!
5. Take into account what they like, what they really really wear. Kids style shows best when the kids are comfortable being who they are! For example, I know that Maya doesn’t like pants, it doesn’t matter how cute are the pants with a flower pattern she won’t wear them as much, so I know to get her skirts with leggings :
6. Don’t forget to combine the shoes! Sometimes you get the cutest outfit and realize later that they don’t have nice shoes to wear that with, so this is a reminder.

I enjoyed my time at the store choosing these two outfits that you see here in the photos for the kids, at the end of the day I am very happy with the combinations I chose (and they are too!).

I think what helped me the most here was to take into account what they love, Mayita with a skirt is happy! And Adri likes to be warm and he loves hoodies!

6 TIPS PARA COMPRARLE ROPA DE NAVIDAD A LOS NIÑOS CON MUCHO ESTILO

Una de las tradiciones de mi familia para las navidades involucraba estrenar ropa, no sólo para la Navidad sino para el 24 de diciembre, para el Año Nuevo, y para el primero de enero, ah y no se olviden de las piyamas nuevas para recibir al niño Jesús!!

A mi me gusta seguir la tradición lo más posible; la verdad no les compro ropa nueva para todos esos días porque aquí no celebramos todas esas fechas, pero de seguro siempre tienen algo nuevo para la navidad y el año nuevo.

Me encanta que la ropa de estrenar ropa tiene cosas lindas para los dos (llega hasta talla 14), la ropa es apropiada para los niños (que no se vistan de adultos!!) y se pueden hacer muchas combinaciones que se ven bellas.

Siempre tenemos actividades y eventos que nos invitan en diciembre así que cuando les compro la ropita me aseguro que les sirva para todo. Aquí les dejo mis tips!

TIPS PARA COMPRARLE ROPA DE NAVIDAD A LOS NIÑOS CON MUCHO ESTILO

1. Visiten el website primero, vean bien lo que les gusta y tomen nota de lo que quieran comprar posiblemente.
2. No vayan con ellos a la tienda! Ya saben como es… Mami, Mami, esto me gusta, quiero esto, y esto y esto! Y nada de lo que eligen combina! Es mejor ir con calma y poder concentrarse para elegir bien.
3. En lo posible, compren todo que combine entre sí. esto ayuda mucho a la hora de vestirlos y repetir combinando camisitas con otros pantalones y así.
4. Compren una talla un poquito holgada pero no tan grande, porque queremos que les dure pero queremos que la usen estas navidades no la siguientes!
5. Tengan en cuenta lo que les gusta a ellos, lo que de verdad se ponen. Los niños con estilo se ven más lindos cuando están cómodos con lo que tienen puesto. Por ejemplo, yo se que a Mayita no le gustan los pantalones para nada, ni que tengan las flores más lindas, así que con faldas y leggings está contenta.
6. No se olviden de combinarles los zapatos. Muchas veces despues de comprar el outfit perfecto nos damos cuenta que no tienen zapatos que les queden bien con el outfit!

Estuve un rato en la tienda escogiendo estos dos outfits que ven aquí en las fotos para los nenes, a la final quedé muy contenta con las combinaciones que elegí (y ellos también!).

Pienso que lo que más me sirvió aquí es tomar en cuenta lo que les encanta a ellos, Mayita con una falda es feliz! Y a Adri le gusta estar abrigado y con capucha!
