This last weekend we came down to San Diego to visit the Gillespie grandparents and aunts. In case you didn’t know, that’s where they live—> My suegros y cuñadas (in-laws and SIL), Phyllis, David, Jan and Jill. We had lots of fun and we also relaxed. Adrian explored the house and crawled around, this is the 3rd time he has been there but the first time crawling! He got scared of Tyler(the family dog)and then he made friends with him (I couldn’t get any pictures of that part).We got Adrian in the pool for the first time, I don’t know who was more excited, him or us!! There was a whole story about a Pirate ship going on -The yellow one in the pics ;)- and Adrian got in and out of it with great pleasure. We had a BBQ consisting of veggies, chicken, salad and corn on the cob (mmhm delicious, thank you all!) and a great dessert which was specially homemade by Jan for the Dads of the family.Derek got some cool gifts but there was one of them that is still echoing thru today and I think for the rest of the week which consists of “No dish washing for one week”. He loves that, maybe next father’s day I can extend the time?! …Maybe!
