We’re one day from Thanksgiving but we already got our Christmas tree last weekend!
This is our first Christmas tree ever since we’re married!!! We’re so excited!! Adrian is such a “Holiday” guy, he’s always pointing out the snowmans, the Santas and so on. On Halloween it was the pumpkins and he talks about it all the time, so of course the tree at home has been a hit! We look for the moons, the suns, the stars, los pájaros and any other ornaments in the tree. Yesterday we got home and this is what happened:
Adrian: Mami, the choo choo train?
And I say: Yes, go play with the choo choo train…
Adrian: Mami, the choo choo train?
Me: Yes, go get the choo choo train…?
Adrian: Mami, the choo choo train?
Me: I keep doing what I’m doing cause I don’t understand
…After a while…
Adrian: (super excited) Mami, I FOUND IT!! I FOUND THE CHOO CHOO TRAIN! and he goes and points it out.
There is a little train ornament in the tree which I just discovered he loves. (I guess there are no trains that he doesn’t like yet!)
We will be going to spend Thanksgiving with the Gillespies in San Diego so I’ll be back to tell you all about it. Have a great Thanksgiving if you celebrate it!!
Last but not least, here is Kitty Alley. She already found a cozy place of her own 😉
