I know, I know, Kung Fu Panda 2 was in the theaters a couple of months ago and I’m talking about it now! Well, with the move and everything I have several posts that got delayed but I still want to talk about everything so here I am sharing.
We (Adrian and me) were invited to watch Kung Fu Panda 2 at Dreamworks Studios in LA and we had a little tour of the studios too. You will not believe your eyes. The studios are amazingly beatiful, it seems such a nice place to work at. Come along and check out the pictures and what we did…
We watched the movie first, it was very fun, specially after seeing a preview of it (I talked about that here). My favorite even though it’s the mean character was always the peacock Lord Shen. Adrian got scared a little bit but overall he loved it of course. He still goes around doing Kung Fu by himself, lol!
Then we had some lunch at this nice outdoor set-up where the kids also got to play with all the Kung Fu Panda 2 toys from Mattel. Got me thinking about my days designing lots of toy packaging, many of my designer friends work at Mattel and probably did some of these, Hi friends! Hope you are designing more cool stuff!!
Afterwards they showed us a brief behind-the-scenes movie about the process of making the animations. Then it was time for the tour. Everything that you see in the pictures is where the people work, the buildings have offices in them and the outdoor areas are the areas to do lots of things! They have spaces for relaxing in front of a little pond, for playing table tennis, for sitting down and chatting, etc, etc, etc!
See below the gym and workout area where they also have yoga clases and others. And also a food station for people that want to eat outdoors.
I came out very impressed about the place, it really is a great name Dreamworks, a dream to work in there! At least from the outside we are all convised
Disclosure: No compensation was received, I was invited to Dreamworks Studios to watch the movie and tour the place, all opinions are 100% my own.
