If you’ve been to Disneyland during the holidays you know how it feels, I mean the place is always magical but during the holidays it’s just the best! Truly Holiday Magic.
Every single space is decorated and many rides have a special holiday attraction to it.
We were able to check out most of the Holiday celebrations, not all but I want to show you some of the things we did…
The Christmas tree on the top photo is from the parade, I love it! It’s huge and it just moves by itself with music on. That and the toy soldiers are my favorites of the parade!

My favorite favorite ride is It’s a Small World, and during the holidays it’s the best too!
The decorations on that castle are so pretty (At night the lights are even better, and this year, the smiling clock on the front reveals a sparkling new projection show), and inside it’s just super cute, this time they were singing Jingle Bells. When we were going through the latin area of It’s a Small World Adrian asked: Is this Mexico and Venezuela mami? I thought it was perfect and valid question, I’ve been teaching him mostly Venezuelan and Mexican culture, he’s on the right path! 😉

One of my cherished moments was visiting the Princesses, because it was Maya’s first time seeing them in real life, she was beyond excited!
She was jumping up and down for each of them, I couldn’t take good pictures, they are all blurry! She hugged them and hugged them some more. Watching her expressions and excitement was priceless!
Another surprising holiday twist on a ride was for the Jungle Cruise, instead it was renamed to “Jingle Cruise”! The dock and the boathouse are decorated with ornaments sent from home and the narrator says funny holiday related chatter.
And I have a couple more Disney Holiday Magic attractions to share but I’ll be back in yet another post, since this one got lengthy with photos already!

Si has estado en Disneyland durante las navidades ya sabes lo que se siente, es que el parque siempre es mágico, pero durante las navidades es lo mejor! Verdaderamente mágico.
Cada esquinita que uno ve está decorado de navidad y muchas atracciones tienen algo especial de navidad.
Vimos la mayor parte de las celebraciones navideñas, no todas pero aquí les muestro algunas de las cosas que hicimos…
Lo primero que ví fue el desfile de Navidad:
“A Christmas Fantasy”, yo estaba sola al principio de la noche porque llegué durante el día primero, mientras los niños estaban en la escuela y Derek estaba trabajando, ellos llegaron después y se unieron para lo de
¡Viva Navidad!.
El árbol de Navidad en la foto superior es del desfile, me encanta! Es enorme y se mueve solito por sí mismo con la música. Eso y los soldados de juguetes son mis cosas favoritas del desfile!

Mi atracción favorita favorito es “Que pequeño el mundo es” osea It’s a Small World , y durante las navidades es una belleza también!
Las decoraciones del castillo son tan lindas (Por la noche con las lucesitas son bellísimas, y este año, el reloj sonriente del frente revela un nuevo espectáculo de proyección), y adentro es una bellezura, esta vez cantaban Jingle Bells. Cuando íbamos por el área latina Adrian preguntó: ¿Esta parte es México y Venezuela mami? ¡Que lindo! Pensé, que buena pergunta, le he estado enseñando de la cultura venezolana y mexicana así que está muy bien, tiene razón al preguntar, ¡vamos por el camino correcto! 😉
Uno de los momentos preciados fue visitar las princesas, porque fue la primera vez que Maya las veía en la vida real, ella estaba super emocionada!
Estaba salta que salta cada vez que las veía, no pude tomar buenas fotos, ¡todas me quedaron borrosas! Las abrazaba, las abrazaba y las abrazaba. No tiene precio el verla tan emocionada!
Otra atracción con algo de celebración navideña es el Jungle Cruise, lo cambiaron a “Jingle Cruise”! El muelle y la casa de botes están decoradas con adornos navideños y el narrador dice cosas cómicas relacionadas con la navidad.
Tengo otras atracciones navideñas de para compartirles, pero lo pongo en otro post, éste ya se hizo super largo con las fotos y es que tengo unas cuantas más! Estén pendientes!

Waking up at the hotel in the morning and looking out the window and chatting between them, SO CUTE! – Cuando se despertaron en el hotel en la mañana se pasaron un buen rato miraaando por la venta a ver que veían y conversando entre ellos, MUY CUCHIS!
