Family Art Night

At the kid’s school they do a family art night once a year and we love love it! They offer different types of projects and you get to pick the one you will do that night. 

This time the kids picked the Andy Warhol inspired one. It’s probably hard to tell by these pictures but you get to make a stamp with foam and then stamp it several times on different colored cardboard. 

What I enjoy the most is doing the whole thing together, help each other and watching the kids’ creation process. Making art together is definetely a bonding experience.

En el colegio de los niños organizan una noche de arte para las familias una vez al año y nos encanta ir! Siempre ofrecen diferentes tipos de proyectos y uno puede escoger el que quiere hacer esa noche.

Esta vez, los niños escogieron este que es inspirado en Andy Warhol. Probablemente es un poquito dificil de entender con estas fotos, pero es chévere porque hicimos un sellito con un pedazo de gomaespuma y lo usamos para imprimir cartulinas de colores.

Lo que más me gusta de participar en este evento es hacer la pieza de arte juntos desde el principio, ayudarnos mutuamente y ver a los niños en su proceso de creación. La verdad que hacer arte juntos es una experiencia que une.
