I made new day of the dead masks to color! Yay! I’m excited about these!
I had made some a long time ago and it’s cool to see how the kids have grown from then until now! Take a look at my other post here.
I made a set of Dia de Muertos printables for HP Print and Play, they have more fun free printables and I’ll be sharing with you here as well.
Oh how I love this Día de Muertos! I love what it represents, I love how colorful it is and how creative we can get with it. I keep thinking what else can I create this year for our altar? In this case it’s not the altar but for the kids this is something fun. Mayita helped me out a lot here, she colored both of the masks and wants to color more of course!
The free printable fits in an 8.5″ x 11″ you can print at home (make sure it’s cardstock!) and it fits most kids so if an adult wants to wear it you would have to print it a little bigger.
PRINTABLE DAY OF THE DEAD MASKS TO COLOR
SUPPLIES:
- Cardstock
- Scissors
- Markers or crayons
- Cord, twine, or ribbon
- Printables
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Print the mask on cardstock and color. Download the day of the dead masks here.
2. Cut around the edges of the mask and inside of the eyes.
3. Open holes on both sides of the mask with a hole punch.
4. Fold the cord over and insert the loop edge on the hole. Insert the other edge through the loop.
5. Pull it up, do both sides and attach it with a knot or bow on the back of the head.

MÁSCARAS DEL DÍA DE MUERTOS PARA IMPRIMIR Y COLOREAR
¡Hice nuevas máscaras del día de los muertos para colorear! ¡Yey! ¡Estoy emocionada con este nuevo diseño!
¡Había hecho otras hace mucho tiempo y es chévere ver cómo han crecido los niños desde entonces hasta ahora! Pueden ver aquí en mi otro post como se veían.
Hice varios imprimibles del Día de Muertos para HP Print and Play, ahí tienen más imprimibles gratis y se los quería compartir con ustedes aquí también.
¡Como amo este Día de Muertos! Me encanta lo que representa, me encanta lo colorido que es y lo creativos que podemos ser con él. Siempre ando pensando ¿qué más puedo inventar o diseñar este año para nuestro altar? En este caso no es el altar pero las máscaras para los niños es algo divertido. Mayita me ayudó mucho aquí, coloreó las dos máscaras y, por supuesto, quiere colorear más.
Cada imprimible cabe en un papel tamaño carta que puedes imprimir en casa (¡asegúrate de que sea de cartulina!) Y le debería quedar a la mayoría de los niños, así que si un adulto quiere usarla, tendrás que imprimirla un poco más grande.
MATERIALES:
- Cartulina
- Tijeras
- Marcadores o crayones
- Cordón, cordel o cinta
- Imprimibles
INSTRUCCIONES:
1. Imprime la máscara en cartulina y colorea. Descarga las máscaras del día de muertos here.
2. Corta alrededor de los bordes de la máscara y en el interior de los ojos.
3. Abre huecos a ambos lados de la máscara con un abrehuecos.
4. Dobla el cordón e inserta el borde del lazo en el huquito. Inserta el otro lado del cordón a través del lazo.
5. Levántalo y hálalo por ambos lados, lo puedes amarrar en la cabeza con un lazo.
