Some of you might remember my trip to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic last year. I made a couple of WW posts and posted some pictures in Instagram and Facebook but nothing else! Well today that is changing. I am bringing you a series of posts of Puerto Plata, lots of information of what you can find over there with lots of photos of course and my experience.
The slogan for DR is Dominican Republic Has it All and I can attest this is true, agree 100%. I didn’t even go to all the island, we visited Puerto Plata and close-by areas, this is to the north of the country, but only by going to this small area of Dominican Republic I was amazed at all the attractions there are to do. I can’t wate to go back! Specially with Derek and the kids since this trip was very work oriented.

Because there are so many attractions and each of them deserves many photos and stories I have I am making many posts, so today I’m bringing you a big collage to give you an idea of what’s coming:

- Nature everywhere, explore the jungle, mountains (there is a cable car) and beaches!
- Adventure Travel: Zip lining at Monkey Jungle, 27 Falls of Damajagua (one of my favorites!)

I spent about 4 days in Puerto Plata, DR and we did go to a lot of places, it wasn’t like a regular vacation where you rest and relax, because the purpose was to learn about everything, we visited about 5 hotels and did tours of all of them! I had a chance to do a Puerto Plata photo walk too. I loved that there is coffee everywhere and at any time, I loved the flavor of the food, if you like passion fruit, you will love to eat there! They include it a lot in their cousine! You can also hear the latin music everywhere and well the people are welcoming and ready to chat with you at any time.
The contact with nature and the weather, oh the weather, it was hot and humid yes, but nothing a pool or beach dive can’t take care of! So come with me and follow this Dominican Republic series, wait for them at least twice a month!

Algunos de ustedes puede que se acuerden de mi viaje a Puerto Plata, República Dominicana el año pasado. Hice un par de posts en Miércoles Mudo donde puse unas foticos y además fotos en mi Instagram cuando estaba allá y en Facebook pero maás nada! Así que hoy eso cambia porque les traigo el primer post en la serie de República Dominicana, mucha mucha mucha información acerca de lo que pueden encontrar por allá, muchas muchas fotos y relatos de mi experiencia.
El slogan para la RD es República Dominicana – Lo tiene todo y es verdad, estoy 100% de acuerdo. Yo ni siquiera visité la isla entera, sólo Puerto Plata y lugares allegados, esto está en el norte del país. Y sólo con esto puedo comprobar que es verdadita pura, de todo tipo de cosas que ver, desde las playas hasta un teleférico. Me muero por volver y llevar a los niños y a Derek ya que este viaje fué de trabajo.
Cosa Colonial Hotel
Debido a que hay tantas atracciones en Puerto Plata y a cada una de ella le quiero dedicar muchas fotos y los cuentos que les tengo las voy a separar en varios posts, así que hoy les traigo un collage grande con muchas fotos, de todo un poco para que se den una idea de lo que viene:

Estuve como 5 días en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana e hicimos un millón de cosas, no fué como unas vacaciones donde uno descansa y eso ya que el propósito de la visita fué conocer lo que más pudiéramos, hicimos tours de 5 hoteles! Tuve chance de ir a hace una caminata de fotografía al pueblo de Puerto Plata, cosa que me fascinó mucho. Me encantó poder tomarme muchos cafecitos ricos en todos lados, me encantó la comida (se parece mucho a la venezolana) que por cierto si els gusta la parchita o maracuyá allá se la ponen a todo, que ricura! También por todos lados se escucha bachatica y música latina of course y la gente suepr amable y simpática.
El contacto con la naturaleza es algo que me gustó mucho, aparte el clima es rico, claro, es caliente y húmedo pero nada que no se pueda quitar con un buen chapuzón en el mar o en la piscina! Así qjue vengan conmigo, los invito a que sigan esta serie de República Dominicana, la estaré poniendo al menos 2 veces cada mes…
