If you have read my blog for a while now you might have noticed that we go to Disneyland at least once a year around this time and we have been there since Adrian was about 18 months old. Check our past visits HERE and HERE.
This time we went 2 times one right after each other! Adrian almost thought we were going to go every Saturday!
We went just the 3 of us one day (Derek, Adrian and me) on our own. And another day we got a very cool invitation by Disney to check out the Halloween celebrations over at the park, so we took Aunt Jan and Maya too.
Arriving at the park and Adrian already with a Lollipop at 10am! |
I love how every time that you visit Disneyland is always different, there is so much to do and to see plus depending on your kids’ ages your experience also changes!! And let me tell you, we went 2 days and visited both parks Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure and there was a lot weren’t able to see because of time or simply because we didn’t want to, like the big roller coaster, for example.
This time it was very cool to see all the Halloween decorations, I think the big Mickey pumpkin is my favorite. On the day we were invited we got to go into a little special event. They had lots of Halloween treats, face painting, tattoos, coloring, cookie decoration and the Villains + Mickey and Minnie were there to take pictures with us! I put most of the pictures here but of course there is plenty more on my flickr.
At Adrian’s age (Almost 4!) he LOVED the Bug’s Land area at California Adventure. It’s a Carnival-like set-up perfect for the little ones. We went twice on each ride, they are perfect for him, nothing scary, not too long, just perfect. Me, I always enjoy looking at the way Disney does everything, in here they are so creative, they make you feel like you are a little bug, very very nice.
Ladybug ride, this was our most favorite from Bug’s Land! |
Disneyland also has Mickey’s Halloween party were you can ride the special spirited attraction, do trick or treat and more! We didn’t go to that one BUT I was also invited to Disney World a little bit ago… And I was able to go to the party over there, it’s called Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party and I LOVED it, there is a little video of the parade here in the post which was my favorite favorite part and I think now it’s my favorite favorite parade, I love the music + the scary rock band and the zombies! I’ll also be talking more about my trip to Disney World in more posts!
H A P P Y H A L L O W E E N!
Psst: We were invited by Disney to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure to enjoy Haloween time and this special event but I wasn’t payed to write this, my opinions here are my personal experiencies.
Maya always has fun no matter where she is!
Waiting for a ride! Esperando en cola para un ride! |
F E L I Z H A L L O W E E N!!

May, gracias por visitar, besos!!
