This year’s Halloween was full of activities, events and parties!
As you can see Adrian wore the same Spiderman costume from last year, but he also got a Ninja Turtle costume, that’s his latest hero, so he wore both on the different events.
I have come to love this holiday more and more after living here and after getting married cause Derek is a big fan of Halloween. We used to put a lot more time into our costumes before we had kids! So this time I knew I wanted to do something a little bit more than just the with hat, so I got some makeup and a wig, 2 things I love about dressing up. I looked up some ideas in the internet for my makeup and did something funky, if you ask who am I? Well, maybe a relative of the Adam’s family? I don’t know, some zombie with funky makeup! What I like is that my hair color and shape is really different.
Now, the cool thing is that my sis is also starting to get into Halloween because of us and she said she would find a costume and do makeup, she got inspired by this artist (Silvia Ji), isn’t so pretty? We are no professionals but for a first time at something like this it turned up cool and it was really fun! I should start planning for next year!
Derek was very happy with his Wolfman costume, he was even stopped by people for pictures! We had fun with that costume, I was afraid that Adrian would be scared but he is not so scared anymore, he allows it but after a while he tell us to please take it off! When we got back from trick or treating he kept saying: Mami, please take that (my makeup) off now!
We went to the annual Halloween party of the mom’s group I’m at (See the past 2 here and here) BUT it was almost night time and I wasn’t able to take many pictures, plus I was so busy with Maya, the camera, chatting, it was not as easy as the other years! The pictures I like the most are the food table pictures. Aren’t all those plates fun and appealing?

We stopped by Rossy’s daycare were she had a little celebration with goody bags, parade and treats for the kids. Plus he had plenty of celebrations at Preschool and at the new daycare. We even got to go trick or treating one night in the city to a cool block of little stores where they open it up for all kids.
Now where is all that candy you ask? Well, part of it I ate already (the ones I like the most) and the other is still there, Adrian hasn’t asked for it, I think he will forget about it if we don’t remind him at all.
And lastly I loooove a timeline, so at the bottom of the post you can see Adrian’s 4 Halloweens trick or treating!!
-ver foto arriba-
The pumpkins where already rotten cause we made them a week ahead 🙁 Las calabazas ya se estaban pudriendo porque las hicimos una semana antes 🙁 |
