Mini vacaciones en Disneyland

Remember I told you how we were very very excited to go to Disneyland and spend a couple of night there? Well, it’s time to tell you how it was!

It’s was the best! The best because we didn’t have to rush or way through everything we wanted to see and we didn’t have to drive back right way. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, it’s just by Downtown Disney, so walking distance to the parks. I loved the pool area with those slides, the design is genius! We didn’t have a chance to enjoy them btw, I just took pictures.

Se acuerdan cuando les conté que estábamos muy emocionados porque íbamos a Disneylandia a pasarnos unas mini vacaciones? Bueno, hoy les quiero contar cómo nos fué!

Fué lo mejor! Porque no tuvimos que apurarnos para ver todo en un solo día y regresarnos todos cansados. Nos quedamos en el hotel que se llama Disneyland, así tal cual. Queda al lado de Downtown Disney osea que nos íbamos caminando a los parques. Me fascinó el area de la piscina con esos toboganes de agua, el diseño es espectacular pero no tuvimos chance de meternos, sólo tomé fotos.

Aquí está Mayita disfrutando de la caminata del hotel a los parques. El hotel está bajo una renovación grande pero igual funciona y tiene muy buen servicio.

We wanted to try out the new Goofy Sky School but Adrian was not tall enough for it, but we took a picture with Goofy which was being very goofy the whole time and staring at Derek!

Quisimos subirnos al nuevo ride de Goofy Sky School pero Adri todavía no tiene la altura mínima, nos encontramos a Goofy allí en frente y estaba actuando bien loco, como él es pues!

Maya takes turns on the sling, in the stroller or walking around and Adrian sometimes enjoys the stroller when Maya isn’t there, but I tell you I wish we had a double stroller cause he claims getting tired a LOT and starts whining and shining. Next time I will rent a double stroller from the park.

Me gusta cambiar a Maya del coche, al cargador y a caminar, mientras que Adrian a veces se mete en el cohce mientras que Maya no está, pero la verdad me gustaría tener todavía un coche doble porque Adrian se la pasa quejándose de que está cansado y no puede caminar. Creo qeu la próxima vez que vayamos rentaremos un coche doble en el parque.

We were treated to a nice breakfast with Mickey waffles & all, aren’t they cute?

Nos dieron un desayuno muy rico con waffles de Mickey y todo, no son cute?

One of the best surprises was to find out that the hotel rooms all include a pack and play for the babies! I was thinking where were we going to put Maya to sleep and thinking the little sofa was a bed I was checking the closet for extra blankets when I found it! It makes so much sense, they both went to sleep right away after the full day of activities.

Une de las sorpresas del cuarto de hotel es que todos incluyen una cunita tipo “pack and play” para los bebés! Yo ya estaba maquinando como era que íbamos a poner a Maya a dormir porque había como un sofacito y entonces busqué en el closet para ver si conseguía más sábanas y cobijas y encontré la cunita! Que maravilla, tiene sentido, de tantas familias que van a quedarse ahí. Los dos se durmieron super rápido de lo cansado que estaban!

And again, no matter how many times we go I was surprised by great new things to me. During our stay we saw 3 night shows:

-Let the Memories Begin, which is a light show projected over the front of It’s a Small World, my pictures here at not so good but you get the idea, these are pictures of people all through that day around the park projected on to that front with wonderful designs and color. The music and the show LIVE in action makes all very much sense of everything, it’s perfect!

-Magical Fireworks Spectacular, I feel that the fireworks are always improving, they even have a REAL Tinkerbell and Dumbo (maybe not for real!) flying over in the midst of all!!

-World of Color, I couldn’t take pictures of this, it’s really hard to but I was amazed and I loved it, it was our first time. All I can say is I highly recommend it, it’s amazing!!

Y como siempre, cada vez que vamos, sin importar cuántas veces hay muchas cosas nuevas que nos sorprenden. Durante nuestra estadía pudimos ver 3 shows en la noche:

-Let the Memories Begin (Que empiecen los recuerdos), es un show de luces donde proyectan fotos de muchas familias disfrutando el parque ese día en la fachada de “It’s a Small World”. Es un espectáculo muy lindo, es dificil de describir porque todo en conjunto con la música que le ponen es lo que lo hace muy chévere, las fotos que muestro aquí arriba son un pequeño ejemplo de los miles de colore y efectos que utilizan.

-Magical Fireworks Spectacular, el espectáculo de los fuegos artificiales parece siempre los mismo pero no, es impresionante como lo mejoran cada vez más, ahora tienen hasta una Tinkerbell y un Dumbo volando en el show y son de verdad! (Bueno al menos la Tinkerbell!)

-World of Color (Mundo del Color), No pude tomar fotos de este, me fué muy dificil pero estuve impresionadísima todo el tiempo, de verdad lo recomiendo si tienen la oportunidad de ir!!
