Hispanicize 2012 Photo Recap

Hispanicize came and went and here we are back to the routine again; for several days I thought I wasn't going to be able to catch up, leaving town is always fun and complicated when coming back, but everything is back to normal.

The conference was full of many opportunities for networking, cafecitos, dancing and more! One of my favorite parts was watching Emilio Estefan's interview, he is a very down to earth person and he's just simply amazing. 

I think that going to conferences should be obligatory for all bloggers, it's so needed for this line of work, we spend so many hours in front of the computer connecting with people online and thinking of ideas by ourselves that having the real life connection is kind of priceless, I really loved to see my friends there and meet new ones that I had already met online before.

My session went great as I mentioned before. Piera and I had the room almost full. At the beginning of the session I was so nervous I went too quickly through what I needed to say but then slowly I felt more comfortable and my favorite part was the questions and answers. I felt so good to hep people with their doubts and as I said before, I love to talk about design, I was sad the questions ended! I also got to see some of my family that live in Miami, my cousins went to see me speak! Gracias for your support primas, I love you both!

Hispanicize vino y se fué y aquí estoy de vuelta en la rutina del día a día; después de varios días de haber regresado creí que no iba a poder acostumbrarme y agarrar de nuevo el ritmo de trabajo pero ya está todo bien y pa'lante con muchos proyectos.

La conferencia estuvo muy chévere y tuve muchas oportunidades de conocer gente, de tomar cafecitos, de bailar, etc etc! Una de mis partes favoritas fué cuando habló Emilio Estefan, que hombre tan sencillo y a la vez tan impresionante, me gustó mucho.

Creo que ir a conferencias debería ser obligatorio para bloggers, es algo que hace tanta falta ya que uno está todo el tiempo sentado frente a la computadora o pensando en ideas solo y conectando con gente en la internet que las conecciones en la vida real son invalorables, ayudan mucho a todo, me encantó ver a muchas amigas y conocer a nuevas que ya conocía sólo en el mundo virtual!

My charla estuvo muy bien como ya les comenté el otro día. Piera y yo casi llenamos el salón. Al principio me sentí bien nerviosa y dije todo muy rápido pero después me empezé a sentir mejor y mi parte favorita fueron las preguntas y respuestas porque sentí que podía ayudar a la gente, es una sensación muy chévere, me hubiera encantado seguir conversando de diseño. Tengo mucha familia que vive en Miami y no los pude ver a todos pero mis primas lindas pudieron ir a verme en la charla, mil gracias primas, las quiero mucho!
