We recently went to Disneyland to experience Halloween Time and it was very fun as always.
I feel they have more and more Halloween decorations each year that goes by.
But first of all let me tell you, I did a terrible job at taking pictures this year (not like other years!), not sure why, maybe because the day we went was like the hottest day ever! That kind of helped because the lines were super short and we enjoyed lots of rides without waiting.
During Halloween there are many attractions that change, there is something for everyone:
- The Haunted Mansion changes to Haunted Mansion Holiday with jack Skellington taking over.
- Space Mountain is Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy where well, there are ghosts all over!
- And as usual you can find ghosts at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- One of my favorite parts is always going through Main Street, U.S.A. and looking at the signs and decorations, this time they have hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins on display and no two are alike!! (I know, I did a terrible job with photos and didn’t even bring you one, I promise I’ll be better next time!!)
- The Disney villains are always hanging out around and ready to take pictures with you!
- You can enjoy Halloween crafts and some not-so-spooky activities for kids at Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch.
- My favorite part was the Día de los Muertos with a traditional skeleton display in Frontierland. We got there late but I was able to take some photos which I will have for you tomorrow in a separate post!
The cool thing is that you can always go to the rides and attractions your family likes the most.
We know that Adrian is not a fan of big and fast rides but we discovered that he loves to explore, for me it was the first time going in the Redwood Creek Trail, but he had been there before and he got all his Explorer Badges.
Mayita still enjoys the little rides like Pinocchio, Snow White, Casey’s Jr Train and so on. This time we weren’t able to see the princesses because it was a huge wait but she LOVES that of course!

Explorando el / Exploring the Redwood Creek Trail

Hace una semana fuimos a Disneyland para ver todo lo de Halloween y fue muy divertido como siempre.
Yo siento que cad año que pasa tienen más y más decoraciones de Halloween.
Pero antes que nada déjenme decirles, hice un pésimo trabajo tomando fotos esta vez (no como otras veces!), no sé por qué, tal vez porque el día que fuimos fué el día más caluroso del año y no me dejaba pensar! Pero bueno ayudó un poco porque las colas para entrar a los rides eran corticas y disfrutamos de bastantes sin tener que esperar mucho.
Durante la temporada de Halloween hay muchas atracciones que cambian, de verdad que hay algo para cada quien:
- La Haunted Mansion cambia a Haunted Mansion Holiday con Jack Skellington que me fascina.
- El Space Mountain es la montaña rusa Space Ghost Galaxy, ¡donde también hay fantasmas por todas partes!
- Y como de costumbre, se pueden encontrar fantasmas en The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
- Uno de mis lugares favoritos es caminar la calle Main Street y ver todos los avisos y decoraciones que ponen siempre, esta vez tienen miles de calabazas talladas a mano por todos lados ¡y no hay dos iguales!! (Ya sé, no les traje ni una fotico de las calabazas, que horror, les prometo que para la próxima me porto mejor!!)
- Los villanos de Disney están a todos los alrededores listos para tomarse fotos con quienes quieran.
- Pueden disfrutar de manualidades de Halloween y algunas actividades que no dan miedo para los niños en el carnaval de Halloween en Big Thunder Ranch.
- Mi parte favorita fue el display del Día de los Muertos en Frontierland. Llegamos tarde y estaba oscuro, pero tuve la oportunidad de tomar algunas foticos, que se las voy a poner para mañana en un post aparte!
Lo bueno es que siempre se puede ir a los rides y a las atracciones que a la family les guste más.
De Adri sabemos que no le gustan las montañas rusas o los rides muy rápidos pero esta vez descubrimos que le fascina explorar, para mí fue la primera vez de meterme en el Redwood Creek Trail, pero él ya había estado allí antes y se quería quedar por mucho tiempo, le dan un folletico y tiene que ir explorando el lugar para completar todas sus insignias de explorador.
Mayita todavía disfruta de los pequeños paseos como Pinocho, Blancanieves, El tren Casey Jr y muchos más así. Esta vez no pudimos ver a las princesas porque había una cola enorme para entrar pero a ella le ENCANTA por supuesto!
