An Adventure at the Beach with Livie & Luca {Giveaway}

This adventure was quite simple. We just headed down to the beach and as soon as we were there the kids had lots of ideas of what they wanted to do so no need for making fancy plans!

The first thing they asked me was: Mami can we go in the sand and chase the birds? Something so simple that wasn’t in my plans at all but they enjoyed it so much. I let them run around a little and then we walked for a while and I took advantage of the beautiful photo ops, I think I got our Christmas card picture here!

Adrian wanted the climb the wall and sit on top while I carried Maya to sit with him and he love protecting her from the wind. I love it when he does that!

We did this outing to try their new shoes by Livie & Luca and show them to you. They are a brand of shoes for babies and kids until size 13. They are handmade, they embrace bold designs and fanciful modern touches that capture the playful, jovial essence of childhood. Their designs are inspired by nature, folklore, vintage and the rich imagination of children.

The kids chose which shoes they wanted out of all the cute models they have. Maya picked Pio Pio and Adrian Toro Gray. I have to say the shoes are very different to other shoes out there and it was hard to choose because all of the designs have their own unique style.

I think kid’s shoes need to be comfortable and durable, these shoes are not exactly meant for the beach but since it’s pretty common that we end up at the beach many times here in San Diego, (even in the Winter because the sunsets are the best!) and they didn’t complain about discomfort or anything, plus they didn’t even ask to take off the shoes which is something they usually do a lot once they get to the beach.

Una aventura en la playa con Livie and Luca

Esta aventura fue bastante simple. Nos fuimos a la playa y apenas llegamos los niños tenía un montón de ideas de lo que quería hacer, ¡así que ni muchos planes hay que hacer!

Lo primero que me preguntaron fue: Mami ¿podemos ir a la arena y perseguir los pájaros? Algo tan simple que ni me lo esperaba, pero que ellos disfrutaron al máximo. Les dejé correr un poco y luego caminamos por un ratico y fue cuando aproveché de tomar bastante fotos, creo que ya tengo la foto para nuestra tarjeta de navidad de esta sesión.

Adrian también quiso encaramarse al murito y sentarse en arriba, yo cargué a Mayita para que sentara con él y él la abrazaba para que no le diera tanto frío porque hacía bastante viento. ¡Me encanta cuando hace esas cositas!

Hicimos este pequeño paseo para probar lo nuevos zapatos de Livie & Luca y mostrárselos a ustedes. Se trata de una marca de zapatos para bebés y niños hasta la talla 13. Los zapatos son hechos a mano, tienen diseños únicos con toques modernos y de fantasía que capturan la esencia de la infancia. Ellos se inspiran en la naturaleza, el folklore, un poco del diseño antiguo y de la imaginación tan grande de los niños.

Los niños eligieron qué zapatos querían de todos los modelos lindos que tienen en el website. Maya eligió el Pio Pio y Adrian el Toro Gray. Me parecieron muy lindos y muy diferentes a otros zapatos que hay por ahí y fue difícil elegir porque cada diseño tienen su propio estilo único.

Creo que los zapatos para niños tienen que ser cómodos y duradero, estos zapatos no son precisamente para ir a la playa, pero ya que es bastante común que aquí en San Diego terminamos yendo a la playa muchas veces (y hats en invierno porque los atardeceres son los mejores!) me pareció buen lugar para ir con ellos, y la verdad nunca se quejaron de los zapatos y no pidieron quitárselos cosa que mucha veces hacen inmediatamente.
