I had the opportunity to go celebrate the launch of the Latin Twist book here in San Diego with Yvette Marquez-Sharpnack and Vianney Rodriguez, they are the authors of the book which is a book full of amazing cocktail recipes.
It was a great little reception in San Diego’s Little Italy at Casa Artelexia. It was my first time in that store and I was super excited with all the visuals.
The book showcases cocktails from 18 Latin American countries and Spain, it has some historical facts about the alcohols used for each country plus it is full of history and traditions.
I love that they specialize in using lots of fresh-squeezed juices and homemade mixers. You can find the perfect cocktail to use for your party!
The party felt like going to somebody’s home for a get-together, they had a beautiful table with h’orderves and 2 cocktails to try. They, of course, made the appetizers also. See, the cool thing is that they are also food bloggers, that’s how they met. I met them a while ago through the blog too, since we are in the same community. It is so exciting to see friends collaborating and making awesome products like this one!
If you are into cocktails, you’ll love Latin Twist book, I think the recipes are different and fresh. The holidays are coming soon, a perfect occasion to make some of those cocktail YA!

fiesta del libro “Latin Twist” en San Diego
Tuve la oportunidad de ir a celebrar el lanzamiento del libro Latin Twist aquí en San Diego con Yvette Marquez-Sharpnack y Vianney Rodriguez, que son las autoras del libro, es un libro lleno de recetas de cocteles muy chéveres.
Fue una reunioncita muy chévere en Little Italy de San Diego en la Casa Artelexia. Por primera vez entré a esa tienda y quedé fascinada, es una fiesta visual!
El libro tiene cocteles de 18 países de América Latina y España, tiene algunos hechos históricos sobre cada tipo de alcohol utilizado en cada país y además de está lleno de cultura y tradiciones.
Me encanta que se especializan en usar muchos jugos frescos y mezclas caseras. ¡La verdad es que aquí se pueden encontrar el cóctel perfecto para una fiesta!
El evento se sintió como ir a casa de alguien para una reunioncita, tenían una mesa bella con aperitivos y 2 cócteles para uno probar. Ellas, por supuesto, hicieron los aperitivos también. Lo chévere es que ellas también son blogueras, así es como se conocieron. Yo las conocí hace un tiempo a través del blog también, ya que estamos en la misma comunidad. Es tan emocionante ver a amigas colaborar y hacer productos lindos como éste juntas.
Si les gusta hacer cocteles creo que les encantará este libro Latin Twist, me parece que las recetas son diferentes y frescas. Ya viene diciembre así que es la ocasión(es) perfecta(s) para hacer algunos de los cocteles YA!
