Our family is not really used to traveling by plane as much as traveling by car. Sometimes we go to LA and spend Christmas over there or when the family comes to San Diego we go out on day trips around here. I LOVE to plan road trips!! So far we have been to one

Adrian doesn’t need a car seat anymore but Maya will still need one for a couple more years, so it’s nice to have her in this Graco Extend2Fit car seat.

I am so excited with this car seat and wish I had it since she was a baby because it can grow with your child all the way until this high booster mode. To me that’s amazing, I have never seen a car seat do that!!

Let me show you some of the cool features that the Graco Extend2Fit car seat has. If you have a baby, you might love this car seat.

To adjust the headrest when your child is bigger you just need to pull it up kind of it is done with a rolling suitcase, you have to use one hand. I am showing the seat without the harness because we don’t need it anymore, but it will easily adjust the harness when you pull the headrest as well.

What I love the most is that you can store the harness right inside the seat! See how there’s a secret door inside? It’s the first time I see something like this, makes it so neatly organized!

I had the opportunity to visit Graco’s headquarters and see a crash test of when they test these seats. After seeing this, and what can really happen if there is an accident, I want to remind you to make sure your car seats are fitting securely in your car and I am thankful for so many secure features Graco sets on these car seats.

The seat also latches to the back, I really felt secure when we went on the mountain curvy roads to Julian.

Julian is a small town about an hour away from us. It’s cold up there and sometimes it snows! So we were all bundled up. We toured a gold mine and then walked a little around town, had some hot chocolate and came back.

One of the tips I can give you for doing road trips is to have breakfast outside the house or take it to go in the car. That makes the trip start sooner!

It’s always so nice to do these trips, no matter how quick they are, it’s refreshing, it helps us connect and get to know new places!

VIAJANDO DURANTE LAS FIESTAS NAVIDEÑAS CON LA SILLA EXTEND2FIT DE GRACO

 

Nuestra familia no está realmente acostumbrada a viajar en avión tanto como viajar en carro. A veces nos vamos a Los Angeles y pasamos la Navidad allí o el resto de la familia viene a San Diego y salimos en viajes de un día por aquí. A mi me encanta planear viajes por carretera!! Hasta ahora estas navidades hemos ido a uno.

Adrian ya no necesita una silla para el carro, pero Maya todavía necesita uno por un par de años más, así que es bueno tenerla en esta silla para que me dió Graco para hacerles reseña, el Extend2Fit.

Estoy contenta con esta silla y me hubiera encantado haberlo tenido desde que eran los dos bebés, porque la silla crece y se convierte con los niñps hasta que necesitan solo el booster (o silla elevada). Para mí eso es increíble, nunca he visto una silla de carro que haga eso!!

Permítanme mostrarles algunas de las características interesantes que tiene esta silla Graco Extend2Fit. Si ustedes tiene bebés o incluso toddlers, seguro les encantará este siento!

Para ajustar el reposacabezas cuando su hijo es más grande sólo tienen que jalarlo tal cual como se hace con una maleta de rueditas, solo con una mano. Yo les mostré la silla sin el arnés porque ya nosotros no lo necesitamos, pero también se ajustará fácilmente el arnés cuando jalen del reposacabezas.

¡Lo que más me gusta es que puedes guardar el arnés justo dentro de silla! ¿Ven cómo hay una puerta secreta adentro? ¡Es la primera vez que veo algo como esto, hace que todo esté organizadito!

Hace unos meses tuve la oportunidad de visitar la sede de la compañía Graco y ver una prueba de choque de cuando prueban estas sillas. Después de ver esto, y lo que realmente puede suceder si hay un accidente, yo les quiereo recordar de asegurarse de que las sillas de los niños los ajusten con seguridad en su carro y estoy agradecida por tantas medidas seguras que Graco establece en estas sillas.

Echa un vistazo a cómo la silla de Maya se engancha en el asiento del carro (foto arriba), además, Graco hace que sea tan fácil para nosotros los padres con el enganche de un segundo, como le llaman ellos! No se puede superar eso!

La silla también se engancha a la parte posterior del asiento, me sentí realmente segura cuando estábamos pasando por las todas las curvas de la carretera hacia Julian.

Julian es una pequeña ciudad como a una hora de nosotros. Hace frío allí arriba y a veces nieva! Así que nos abrigamos muy bien. hicimos un tour de una mina de oro y luego caminamos un poco alrededor del pueblo, tomamos chocolate caliente y nos regresamos.

Uno de los consejos que puedo darles para cuando hagan viajes por carretera es desyunar fuera de la casa o en el carro. Eso hace que el viaje comience más rápido y aprovechen tiempo!

Siempre es tan agradable hacer estos viajes, no importa lo rápido que son, es refrescante, nos ayuda a conectarnos y conocer nuevos lugares!
