Maya is 3 years old!

This is the best photography project ever! I’m so glad I started this monthly picture (now yearly) and sad I didn’t do it with Adrian. I completely forgot about continuing this year until my friend Pati reminded me cause she laso does it with her son.

How fun. I think watching the kids grow and looking at all the photos through the years is the best, it reminds you how they were and it sets things in perspective; what I mean is that now I can realize how little she was and how much she’s grown and I compare her to what she is now and I appreciate everything that we have learned all together these years. I also feel I celebrate another year, one that makes me graduate to the next level of motherhood because I am also in this mom school and I have passed to the next year!

I think that the difference between last year’s and this year’s photo is amazing, lots of growth as it should be 😉 As you can see, Adrian had to be part of it. They were both in a good mood for pictures together and I got some fun ones!

We celebrated by going to the Aquarium then to Mc Donald’s where there were some Hello Kitty toys. She had so much fun! The family gave her cute girly presents including a princess dress that she asks to wear everyday!

She also had a piñata at daycare one day, everything was Hello Kitty, I confess I actually wanted to be a kid in that piñata!

Feliz cumpleaños little Maya!

Este proyecto fotográfico es uno de los mejores que he hecho! Estoy contenta de que empezé la foto cada mes (ahora cada año) y un poco triste que no lo hice con Adri. Se me había olvidado por completo ahorita que Maya cumplió, si no fuera por mi amiga Pati que me lo recordó porque ella también lo hace con su niño Sam que cumple muy cerquita.

Que chévere, la verdad ver crecer a los bebés/niños en fotos así es una maravilla, te hace recordar cómo eran porque la verdad se olvida rápido! Y te hace poner todo en perspectiva al ver las fotos, es decir, ahora que veo como era de chiquita y la comparo como es hoy me doy cuenta de todo lo que ha crecido y valoro mucho las cosas que hemos aprendido todos al pasar por estos años. Ahora yo también me siento un poquito más grande como mamá. Es como pasar de un año al siguiente en el colegio de madres!

Creo que la diferencia entre las fotos de este año y la última de cuando tenía 2 es tremenda, ha crecido muchísimo, como debe ser. Como ven en las fotos Adrian también quiso ser parte y los dos estaban de buen humor para fotos así que aproveché y salieron unas muy lindas.

Celebramos el cumple de Mayita dando un paseo en el acuario de aquí cerca con la familia y luego en Mc Donald’s donde estaban dando jugueticos de Hello Kitty, se divirtió mucho y la familia le regaló muchas cositas de niñita, entre ellas un vestido de princesa que se lo quiere poner todos los días!

También le hice una piñata en su guardería, todo de Hello Kitty, les confieso que yo también quería ser niña para participar en esa piñata! Feliz cumple mi Mayita linda!
