Hispanicize 2013 was filled with lots and lots of things to do, enjoy and learn. I covered some of the things on my 1st recap and here are some others, keep in mind there was so much more to it but depending on your interest and focus you would want to do some things or the others. There was a lot of movie premieres and chats with directors that id din’t go to for example but I find it amazing that there is all of it available for everyone that attends.
My eyes are always drawn to the “look” of things, to the design, for example the Target party had beautiful decorations and part of them were these chairs, aren’t they neat? They did a
Synchronized Swimming show and Emilio Estefan, who was there, launched a new line of headphones, “The Sound Machine”, in partnership with Monster and sold only at Target. They had the headphones at target’s booth too so people could try them, I think their design and color is pretty cool. I enjoyed just taking pictures of the headphone and of target’s booth (scroll down for those)!

Hispanicize 2013 estuvo llena de muchísimas cosas que hacer, cosas que ver y cosas que aprender. En el primer resumen que hice les conté varias cosas y aquí les cuento un poquito más, en esta conferencia pasan tantas cosas a la vez así que dependiendo del interés cada quien asiste a lo que quiere, por ejemplo gran parte de la conferencia se enfoca en cine y música y habían muchos estrenos de películas y conversaciones con los directores a los cuales yo nom asistí pero me parece chévere que todo está disponible para los asistentes de Hispanicize.
Una de las cosas más importantes que me llama la atención a mi como ya ustedes saben es el diseño de todo, por ejemplo Target organizó una fiesta con una decoración muy cool, que tal les parecen las sillas que ven aquí en las fotos? Hubo un show de nado sincronizado en la fiesta y todo. Estuvo Emilio Estefan por el lanzamiento de unos audífonos nuevos que diseñó “The Sound Machine” conjuntamente con Monster y se venden exclusivamente en Target. Los audífonos los tenían en el booth de Target para que la gente los probara, a mi me gustó mucho el diseño y el color. Disfruté tomándoles bastantes fotos y también al booth de Target (pueden ver las fotos más abajo).

Ya les enseñé algunas fotos del hotel y aquí hay unos detalles del restaurant principal del hotel por dentro, desayunamos ahí un día, ofrecen buffet y estaba muy rico!
I think that for the next conferences I go I want to write a list of the things I learned and stuck with me the most, at the end of every conference I feel overwhelmed with so much info and I almost want to write in detail of every single thing but that never happens because it’s just too much and not doable, I have to go on with life and more work after every trip. Plus I think that writing down just the most important takeways helps focus better after the conference, this time I didn’t write them all and I forgot many so here we go with what I’ve got (I didn’t write who said what, I promise I’ll do it next time!):
- For help on creating great content: Look at what is hot out there and put your own spin.
- English or Spanish, it doesn’t matter which language you write on as long as you create original content, know your niche and stay within it.
- SEO is like real life, if you are walking around and see a group of people conglomerated your first instinct is to know why are they there for and you look too. So if your content is good, people will conglomerate and attract more and more readers to your site.

- Para ayuda en crear contenido: Observa de lo que se está hablando alrededor y escribe acerca de eso haciéndolo de tu propia manera.
- No importa si escribes en inglés o en español, con tal de que escribas contenido original, que tengas tu proprio nicho y lo mantengas.
- SEO es como la vida real, si estás caminando y ves un grupo de gente conglomerada en un grupo la primera reacción es ir a ver que es lo que están viendo y así mucha gente hace lo mismo. Así que si escribes contenido bueno y original la gente se conglomerará y así más y más lectores vendrán a tu sitio.

Y por último, unas fotos de la fiesta en el yate de McDonald’s. Esto se está convirtiendo en una tradición, se acuerdan de algunas fotos que les mostré el año pasado? Esta vez era el lanzamiento de los wraps premium, estuvimos en el yate disfrutando la fiesta baile y baile y después nos llevaron un McDonald’s que estaba cerrado especialmente para nosotros donde pudimos probar los wraps, imagínense estar en un McDonald’s con mesoneros en todos lados y hasta cafecito podías pedir (que estaba muy rico por cierto)!!? Estuvo super chévere y nos trataron muy bien. La envoltura del wrap es como de alta tecnología, se abre estilo sobre de Fedex!!
