This Summer was amazing, it was a very different Summer for us because we did a LOT of things. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that my dad came to visit.

The first thing we did with him was a family trip to a resort in Sunriver, Oregon. We had a great time and it was the first time we all were on a plane together at the same time, the first time we went to a resort together, and well, many other great Summer moments, it was a memorable trip of which I will have more details in another post of course.

 

After that, my dad stayed in San Diego for a month, so I took him to many places around the city, I was also working but at the same time I was the family event coordinator and felt responsible for the kids to have a great Summer, because isn’t that the priority of us Mamis??!!

The kids went to their day camp almost every day, the same one they went to last year and they loved it. One of those camps for Adri was Musical Theater camp, they did “The Jungle Book” and Adrian played the role of Mowgli (the little boy)!! You have no idea how awesome he was!!! (I know I’m biased!)  I left my heart there, I am so proud, he did such an excellent job; if Adrian decides to become an actor, I can truly be a “theater mom” haha!

Lastly and as always, we had our Camp Mami week and it was excellent! The only thing we didn’t do that we usually do is go camping, but I guess we’ll leave for next year, since we’ve been almost 3 weeks back to school already, the year is almost over!

This was a supermini summary of our Summer, because I know I will come back and tell you more details of each adventure I was dying to show you some pictures and share with you. Any eventful Summer memories you want to share?!

NUESTRO VERANO

Este verano la pasamos como nunca, la verdad fue un verano muy diferente porque hicimos muchisísimas cosas.

Si me siguen por Instagram ya saben que mi papá vino de visita. Lo primero que hicimos con él fue un viaje familiar a un resort en Sunriver, Oregon. Fue super rico y primera vez que vamos todos toditos en un avión, que nos quedamos una semana en un resort, y bueno, pare de contar, fue un viaje memorable del cual les voy a contar con más detalles en un post.

Después de eso mi papá se quedó en San Diego por un mes entonces aproveché de llevarlo a muchos lugares, yo seguí medio trabajando en lo que podía, pero a la vez era coordinadora de eventos de la familia y responsable de que los nenes tuvieran un verano divertido, porque esa es la prioridad de uno cuando es mamá verdad que sí?

 

Los niños fueron a su campamento casi que a diario, el mismo que fueron el año pasado y que les encanta. Uno de esos camps para Adri fue de Teatro, específicamente de musicales, montaron “El libro de la selva” y el hizo el papel de Mowgli (el niñito protagonista)!! No saben que bello, a mi se me salía el corazón de lo enamorada y orgullosa que estaba, lo hizo espectacular, si Adrian se dedica a ser actor, yo me anoto de una en ser “mamá de teatro” o algo así, aquí les dicen “Theater mom” jaja!

Por último y como siempre, tuvimos nuestra semana de Camp Mami y nos fue excelente! Lo único que no hicimos esta vez fue irnos de camping! Ya será para el año que viene que en todo caso ya casi llega rapidísimo, hace casi 3 semanas que los niños empezaron clases y ya casi se acaba el año! jajaja!

Este fue un mini resumen de nuestro verano, porque aunque vendré a contarles con más detalle de cada cosa pero me moría por poner algunas foticos y compartir con ustedes. ¿Y uds? ¿Tienen algunos eventos de verano que me quieran contar?
