As I already told you, we went to Universal to see the Holiday celebrations and of course we couldn’t miss Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
I know I told you that Grinchmas was the favorite but I also loved this one! Hogsmeade village looks so elegant with Christmas decorations, very beautiful and cozy.
In the shops, there are many holiday-themed ornaments specially made for Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and snow globes with the castle inside (forgot to take pictures of these!). There is also the famous Frog Choir where they sing Christmas songs, they sound amazing, they all sing a capella with the huge frogs of course!
Right here in Hogsmeade, we ate at the big restaurant that’s called Three Broomsticks, you can see the pictures of what we ate below, it was all very good. You can order Butterbeer in here or out in the village they have carts and for this season they sell it hot. When we went, it was a super warm day so we didn’t feel like having a hot Butterbeer. Adrian loves it, I tasted it and tastes yummy, like caramel-flavored soda.
And I saved the best for last! The lights show they do at Hogwarts Castle!! The cool thing is that they do it every 30 minutes when it gets dark, so you have lots of opportunities to make it to the show. If you go during the Holidays do not miss this show!! The photos in this post do not do justice to how beautiful it is, and everything is with a musical background arrangement from the Harry Potter movies.

Como ya les conté, fuimos a Universal a ver las celebraciones navideñas y porsupuesto la Navidad en el Wizarding World of Harry Potter no podía faltar!
Ya se que les dije que Grinchmas fue el favorito pero es que este también me encantó!! Ahora que escribo este post estoy indecisa! Aquí el pueblo Hogsmeade luce como elegante con las decoraciones de Navidad, muy muy bonito y acogedor.
En las tiendas venden muchísimos adornitos de Navidad todos especiales del lugar como globitos con el castillo adentro (y se me olvidó tomarle fotos!!). Luego tienen el famoso show del “Frog Choir” donde cantan canciones Navideñas, me encantó porque cantan muy chévere todo a capella.
Aquí mismo en Hogsmeade comimos en el restaurant grande que hay ahí y se llama “Three Broomsticks”, pueden ver las fotos de lo que comimos mas abajo. Por todos lados se puede pedir Butterbeer y para esta temporada la venden caliente. Cuando nosotros fuimos hubo bastante calor así que tomarse una de esas calientes no se entojaba! A Adrian le fascina, la verdad es rica, como refresco sabor caramelo!
Bueno y dejo para lo último lo mejor!!! El show de luces que hacen en el castillo Hogwarts!! Lo chévere es que lo hacen cada 30 minutos a partir de que anochece, entonces uno tiene la oportunidad de verlo en caso de que no puedas temprano vas mas tarde y ya. Si les recominedo que si van no dejen de ver este show, las fotos que puse en este post no le hacen justicia a lo bello que es, y todo es con un fondo musical sacado de las películas de Harry Potter.
