This past weekend we visited Universal Studios just in time to see all the Holiday celebrations in the park. One of the offerings they have is the “Grinchmas” area.

We’ve never been before and I wasn’t really sure what to expect but we ended up spending lots of time here, we really LOVED the Grinchmas!!

The area does feel like Who-ville, it’s such a happy and colorful place, I couldn’t stop snapping pictures everywhere. So if you plan to visit the Grinchmas Universal Studios Hollywood, make sure to do all these 15 fun things!

1. Take a photo with the Grinch. He won’t be so excited about the photo but he’s so funny!

2. See the Wholiday tree lighting! It’s really a fun show with beautiful lights and they repeat it every half hour after 5:30 pm.

3. Watch the Martha May and the Who-Dolls show perform Christmas music.

4. Help the Grinch find his stuff with a scavenger hunt. You get to find things all over Who-ville, receive stamps and then get a prize.

5. Watch the Wholiday Singers sing a cappella concerts.

6. Color your own ornaments and hang them at the Tree-Lot. Or just hang regular ornaments in the lot.

7. Take a picture with Max. Max is The Grinch’s dog and he is very much in character all the time.

8. Sit down for Storytime with Cindy-Lou. She has a cool pop-up book!

9. Enjoy delicious Holiday treats at the Whoville bakery. They have huge donuts, cupcakes and more!

10. Get interviewed by the Who-ville reporter. The kids got interviewed about their scavenger hunt, with a microphone and everything.

11. Write your good deeds and support School on Wheels. You get to write the deeds ina postcard and then deposit it in the mailbox.

12. Take pictures with Who-ville Whos. They are always up for it!

13. Take an upside down Grinchmas card photo. 

14. Check out several vehicles used in the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. 

15. Have fun chatting with the Whos. They are so entertaining! They are really interactive and just start a conversation with you no matter what!

At this time Maya is 7 years old and Adrian is 11. They both enjoyed the Grinchmas a lot!! And we kept coming back to watch the shows they offer. It would be hard to pick their favorite activity inside the Grinchmas but they said in-between the scavenger hunt and the Tree lighting!

15 COSAS DIVERTIDAS QUE HACER EN GRINCHMAS DE UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD

Este fin de semana pasado fuimos a Universal Studios en Hollywood justo a tiempo para disfrutar todas las celebraciones navideñas en el parque. Una de las cosas chéveres que tienen es el área “Grinchmas”.

Nunca habíamos conocido Grinchmas y no sabía bien qué tenían, pero la verdad terminamos pasando bastante tiempo ahí, ¡realmente nos ENCANTÓ Grinchmas!

El área se siente tal cual Who-ville, me encanta que está lleno de colores fuertes y es todo bien alegre, no podía parar de tomar fotos por todas partes. Si planean visitar Grinchmas Universal Studios Hollywood, asegúrese de hacer todas estas 15 cosas divertidas!

1. Toménse una foto con el Grinch. ¡No estará tan contento con la foto, pero es muy cómico!

2. ¡Tienen que ver la iluminación del árbol de Navidad de Who-ville! Es realmente un espectáculo divertido con full luces y lo repiten cada media hora después de las 5:30 p.m.

3. Vean la presentación de Martha May y las Who-Dolls que interpretan música navideña.

4. Colorea tus propios adornos y cuélgalos en el Tree-Lot. O simplemente pueden colgar adornos normales en los árboles.

5. Disfruten de los “Wholiday Singers” cantando conciertos a capella.

6. Ayuda al Grinch a encontrar sus cosas con una búsqueda del tesoro. Puedes encontrar cosas en todo Who-ville, recibir sellos y luego obtener un premio.

7. Tómate una foto con Max. Max es el perro del Grinch y todo el tiempo estaba dentro de su personaje!

8. Siéntense para la hora del cuento con Cindy-Lou. Ella tiene un libro cheverísimo pop-up!

9. Disfruten dulces navideños en la panadería Whoville. ¡Tienen unas donas enormes, ponquesitos y mucho más!

10. Pueden ser entrevistados por el reportero de Who-ville. Los niños fueron entrevistados sobre su búsqueda del tesoro, con micrófono y todo.

11. Escribe tus actos buenos y apoya a School on Wheels. Tienes que escribirlos en una postal y luego depositarla en el buzón.

12. Tómense fotos con los Whos de Who-ville. ¡Siempre están listos para posar!

13. Tómense una foto en la tarjeta Grinchmas al revés.

14. Admiren varios vehículos utilizados en la película “Cómo se robó la Navidad el Grinch”.

15. Diviértete conversando con los Whos. ¡Son super entretenidos y comienzan una conversación contigo bien fácil!

Ahorita con Maya de 7 años y Adrian de 11 los dos disfrutaron mucho de Grinchmas! Y regresamos varias veces para ver los shows que ofrecían más tarde. A los niños les costaría elegir su actividad favorita dentro de Grinchmas, pero sería entre la búsqueda del tesoro y la iluminación del árbol!
