Creamy Coffee and Almond Dessert

Although in many parts of the world it’s super cold during this time of the year, I feel like everybody wants to come back to the routine, make plans, organize and keep moving. I imagine myself doing all this planning stuff sitting with a notebook, a pencil, my tablet or phone and of course with a cup of coffee.

But what if after the organization or between planning we also meet up with a friend to share some ideas?

I thought of all this while I was making this dessert, because as you know, I love coffee and what I love the most is to enjoy a coffee with the company of friends.

So I prepared this delicious coffee dessert specially to enjoy with someone else. Or for after a special dinner would be great too!

The dessert has layers of with bananas, COOL Whip, almonds and the perfect coffee syrup which you will learn to make with the recipe. (It took me a little time to take the syrup to perfection!)

Aunque en muchas partes del mundo hace friito en esta época del año, se sienten como que las ganas de volver a la rutina, de hacer más planes, de organizarse. Yo me imagino haciendo todo esto sentada con una libreta, un lápiz, mi tableta o teléfono y por supuesto un cafecito de acompañante. 

¿Pero que tal si después de la organización o entre planes y planes también nos encontramos con una amiga para compartir ideas?

Todo esto se me ocurrió cuando pensé en hacer este postre, es que como ya saben a mi me encanta el café y lo que más me gusta es poder tomar un cafecito disfrutando de la compañía de amigos.

Así que preparé este postre esquisito de café precisamente para disfrutar con alguien más. Hasta para después de una cena especial, queda muy chévere.

Entre las capas de este postre encontrarán bananas, crema COOL Whip, almendras y un jarabe de café al punto perfecto (el cual aprenderán en la receta, ¡me tomó tiempo pero lo pude hacer de manera que quedó demasiado bueno!).
